If it's not the ring you want, then take it back. Sentimental value or not, there's no sense in wearing a ring you don't like for the rest of you life. There's still the 10 year anniversary ring, if your marriage makes it that far. The other reviews said it, this is the best jeweler around. I've taken my wedding ring and my husband's to get resized and cleaned before we got hitched. Hudson's had them ready to pick up on our special day. The rings were shined to perfection! It's a place we trust, and they're all experienced jeweler's who have been in this business for years.

My fiance and I went out shopping for engagement rings. We found a very nice one and put it on hold while we shopped around. The center stone was an "ideal" cut, approximately .95 carots. I went into the Edwardsville Hudsons and found the ring that I presently wear. I told them what we had on hold, and the price, and then found this ring. I was told by the owners wife that this stone was also an "ideal" cut. My fiance and I went back and purchased the ring. We were told by the owner that we would get the appraisal with 2 days. Approximately 2 months later, after I called I received the appraisal, and the stone was a "fair" cut. When I called and talked to the owners wife, she said it was close. Sorry, no its not. At this point my fiance had already proposed marriage and i had been wearing the ring. She offered to take it back. Great--after i had already been wearing it and it was the ring my fiance proposed to me with. No offer to put the equivalent cut stone into the ring which would have been satisfactory. Now I'm stuck with a ring for the rest of my life that I can't give back to my fiance, it has sentimental meaning, but makes me very angry, because we were ripped off. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!
