There's often little pools of water for the kids to play in you can find lots of small shells, the water is relatively calm and there's lots of sand and places to sit. Great BBQ Pits there's a bathroom nearby and a restaurant on the beach. My only issue is that the restrooms don't have doors. Other than that the walk on the pier is nice and there's plenty of space to go up and down the beach for sunset. Most definitely recommend

Had a great time at the beach. The weather turned suddenly and it was freezing, but once we started walking on the beach we got warmer. We found broken sand dollars, which was a first. Tons of birds were out. Great restaurants were close by. We definitely will be returning when the weather is warmer.

The last time i was out here was several years ago we walked he beach and went to this fish and chips place i can’t remember the name but the fried fish and the fries were AMAZING i travel a lot and for this little place to stick with me this many years if you see it stop inside. They have fresh fish and crabs too it’s fantastic food with sea breeze in your face.

We really only stop by this beach for the sunset, it is a pretty location. The views are nice and the palm trees in the area. I would plan ahead if you're coming to the beach to hang out and play in the water though, there are not many services here.

First time at the Pacific Ocean. Very clean beach, they have picnic areas with fire puts on first come, first serve basis. Fairly clean restrooms - word of caution they close them down at dusk/dark which is about 3 hours prior to park closing. They do have a port-a-john that can be used after that however. Pier was crowded with people fishing during the week,  Friday night though very few people. To park for the day is $8, and goes down in increments. We paid $2 for an hours time.  Well lit parking lot, there is a seafood market and restaurant on location. We did not visit that facility however.
