I want to the maple syrup festival. It was a beautiful day. I ate some pancakes with the maple syrup and it was delicious. All of the worker's are very nice. I did the maple syrup tour outside and it was a lot of because I learn the history of the making of the maple syrup. I am planing on doing the maple syrup festival every year.

We visited right before Thanksgiving. Was rather disappointed to find out that a society came in and dressed up the place for the holidays. They had over 75 Christmas trees decorated, but not one sign of Jesus Christ. Not sure that they get the true meaning of Christmas. Our Native American Heritage just on display there, this country was built on the Christian faith. It's too bad the decorators and the state weren't able to display the true meaning of Christmas. Our room was clean and the night shift security man was amazing. 5 thumbs for him or star. He is an asset.

Hueston Woods is a great place to take your family on an outing. There is camping, swimming, boating, trails, and much more. There is a lodge (if camping in tents is not for you) which has nice rooms. The restaurant is nice, with good food at reasonable prices, and a very friendly, nice, professional staff. The camping area is good for mobile campers of any size, or you can set up a tent, if that is what you desire. Don't forget to bring your boat! Hueston Woods has a very large lake for boating and swimming. The swimming area has a nice beach for lounging, laying out for a tan, or just going in and out of the water. Hueston Woods is a safe place to bring your family for a weekend outing of camping, or just a day of swimming. And boating on the lake is a blast! It is a state park and very safe. Everyone that I know who has spent time at Hueston Woods has nothing but good things to say about their experiences at the park. And I can vouch for their assessment, it is a great place to come, if only for a day of walking the trails. My favorite thing to do is swimming and boating. If you don't own a boat, you can rent small paddle boats to at least get you out onto the water. Hueston Woods is an older state park, but still very well kept and clean. I recommend it for a day out with the family, or even a weekend of camping. You are going to have a lot of fun!

Pro Shop closed but course is open. 10 bucks for all day using self registration. One of best deals around. Course is in good shape. Lots of roll due to the frozen fairways. On #11, able to bounce pitch off of frozen lake on to green. Finished round in 2 h 45 min.
