The Huetiful Salon was the brain child of founder Ken Burkeen. He wanted to provide an exclusive salon where his best Professional stylists can provide Huetiful's best treatments and systems in a private environment. The salon embraces women of all hues (or shades) and focuses on healthy hair treatments for wavy, curly, and kinky-curly hair that is natural, relaxed or transitioning.

I love huetiful. I have been multiple times for a flat iron and for the nano treatment. It is all worth it. My hair always reverts back. If you are looking for a natural salon I definitely would recommend here. They always do a good job with my hair.

This used to be my staple hair salon for the past 5 years. I have been a customer in both Chicago and now Atlanta. The service and quality of stylist in Atlanta has declined dramatically. A stress free appointment turned into a nightmare when I was hit in the head with a blow dryer and water logged ears from a terrible washing. I will no longer support their business.

Christina literally can understand different hair grade textures and is really good at communicating and listening to your needs. Unfortunately I couldnt always seem to get in her schedule because it is limited. I've been to many other salons and none of them have done quite as good with maintaining my curls and making my hair last. Theres another stylish named Jackie I was not as happy to get her even though Kristina assured me she was the best. She had a very brash approach and She did want she wanted to do with my hair even though I told her I wanted my hair straight. The bumps and curls were unnecessary and didn't help my hair wrap at all. It always didn't last as long and wasn't as silky. Atleast they don't burn your hair out! For healthy natural hair please take time out of your schedule to point an appt with  Huetiful!

I had a GREAT visit with Lauren. The salon is clean and everyone is very sweet! Will definitely return.

Do not let Jackie cut your hair!  I went in today after she requested I move my appt from Sunday.  At any rate I stated that I wanted my hair in layers and wanted to keep my length.  She suggested an inverted bob and said she would take off 2 inches.  She cut 6 and it looks horrible.  I told her I still wanted to be able to pull it in a ponytail, she said I would be able to.  Well I can't.  To top it off I came home and straightened it trying to see this bob she said I'd have, it's uneven and there is zero style to it.  I missed my birthday celebration because this is so screwed up.  I can't do anything with it at all, I'm just going to have to get a tapered cut to make it look like something.  Bear in mind my hair was bra strap length and now it's above my shoulders and all I really wanted was some layers.  Jackie, if you read these, you really shouldn't be cutting hair.  I know you said you teach classes, but you should probably sit in a few before you mess up someone else's hair. 

Bottom line, DO NOT GO TO JACKIE IF YOU HAVe LONG HAIR.  It will be short and jacked up when you leave.
