It's what you expect, plus none of the drawbacks that often come with economy motels. The heater in the room is very good and heats the room more quickly than you expect. The water pressure in the shower is great and the once it's hot, the hot water stays hot and holds consistent temperature.

No problems whatsoever. Sweet small-town up-in-the-redwoods unpretentious feel to it. Clean. I felt comfortable there and slept soundly.

Cute place, in a little town. The lady running the place was sweet. The room was simple and outdated, but had its charm.

Unfortunately, the toilet had what seemed like dried blood on it, the shower didn't work and the sheets were marked. The smell in the room was very strong, understandably it is legal there and you can only do so much to stop it smelling but maybe an air freshener and stop smoking outside the rooms for those who do not wish partake.

Lovely desk staff. Parking lot felt more secure than at the other places in town, and I could park my car just outside my room, which I needed because it was packed with prized possessions. Price was more than I would pay again though--room was labeled nonsmoking but reeked of cigarettes, and on looking under bed to retrieve a dropped item I discovered a pile of dust, fluff and debris that said it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Plenty of clean fluffy towels and toiletries and a comfy night's rest all the same, for which I am grateful.
