--- The Story of the Drill ---

While in college, I worked for a local hardware store in the tool department. I had always used my fathers tools, but I was coming of age and decided it was time to start building my own collection. The store was running a special on an inexpensive electric drill, and I told my father this would be the first of many tools I would purchase. He said, “If you buy that one, it’ll definitely be the first of many drills you’ll purchase.” He convinced me to save my money and buy a top-of-the-line Milwaukee. It’s been 25 years since, and I still use that same Milwaukee to this day.

What I learned from my father really struck a chord and set a precedent about the way I view purchases. When I buy something I want it to last my whole life, and even future generations, be it tools, fine furniture, or music gear.

Now that I have a shop of my own, I’m committed to offering products we truly believe in. Like you, the guys here are passionate about fine gear. We feel it should inspire you to play and create. We don’t care about being the largest music shop, but we do want to be the best at helping our customers. Finding the right gear can involve big decisions, but we believe it should be a fun process not a stressful one. Let us put our experience and knowledge to work for you.
