Story

Lunch Buffet everyday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. $9.50 including tax.
Dinner buffet starts at 4:30 every day. Seafood and snow crab are on the buffet every day,
Sushi is added to the Friday and Saturday Dinner Buffet. There is also a separate sushi menu availabe at this time. Price for dinner buffet is 14.95 plus tax.
Regular menu is available at all times.

It was average, but I loved that they had crab legs on buffet. They have a full bar. I would return when staying at the best western in Alpena. It's right across the parking lot.

The first time visiting this restaurant, I was with my son, the service was not very friendly, food mediocre & the waitress was rushing us to leave. We were very unimpressed. The last time I was there was 2-4-17, was with my boyfriend, we decided together to give Hunan's restaurant another chance. We were taken to a seat but wanted to be alone so we explained that to the hostess so she gave us a different seat, slightly away from other patrons. Before we ordered I used the restroom & while I was washing my hands I looked down at the sink bowl & noticed it was backed up & filthy & then I seen it! There was vomit coming out of the drain! I made my way back to my table but my boyfriend had switched tables. I told him the condition of the restroom & he told me that he switched tables because the hostess sat a whole family down(including small children) directly next to us after we specifically asked for a table away from other patrons in their UNCROWDED dining room. Even without considering my first visit with my son, strike 1)the hostess disappointed us with seating(why would she put a whole family next to a couple that is dining? &, strike 2) vomit coming up from the drain. We weren't going to wait around for the horror of strike 3. We decided to leave & won't be returning.

Came in the door at 8:00 pm....buffet looked well stocked....people were eating off of it....employees were filling to go containers....refused service 1 hour before closing....as the employees gorged themselves on the buffet...filling to go containers by the number....thanks....I always loved Jimmy Chen.....you embarrassed him and his honorable reputation....sorry to say this....very sorry.....extremely sorry To Jimmy....he has done so much for the community....I just have to wonder what ever happened there....just looked over there from my hotel...employees leaving with "stacks" of to go boxes.

Disappointed...On 50 dollar order there was no rice and literally a handful of fried noodles and they were stale. Won't be back.
