I bought a sofa from here. I thought I purchased a leather sofa. It was on sale and was very excited. I loved it! I purchased the extended warranty. It literally peeled after only a year. I spoke to the representative, sent pictures to no resolve. The warranty I purchased didn't cover peeling. I was offered a 30% discount towards a new purchase. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! If I could give it no stars, I would. Now on the hunt for a new sofa. Disappointed is an understatement.

In deference to my dog, I special ordered a J. Henry sofa in a stainproof, color-fast Revolution Performance fabric, and was told it might take 6-8 weeks to come in. It was reasonably priced, arrived in 4 weeks and was delivered in perfect condition. I am delighted!

So wish I had checked this out before I bought a $1200+ bed at HM. Same experience. Bed frame broke. Wasn't aware of problem with in the warrenty window so tough luck! Yes actually cursed at man that called telling me that I COULD PAY FOR THE REPLACEMENT PARTS!!! Not usually my style. Now telling everyone... DO NOT SHOP HERE. GO ELSEWHERE I tried to support local (and more expensive I might add) business. Would have been much better PR wise in this day of Amazon for them to simply take care of a local customer.

I will NEVER purchase anything from Hurwitz Mintz again. I spent more than $7,000 for and adjustable bed and they delivered a unit that didn't work. I bought the bed because of a back injury. Instead of taking the platform half that didn't work (2 twins = king) and bringing another, they left the one that didn't work. The bed was not fully assembled. I waited a week for a part to be delivered and then was rudely spoken to by their customer service and warehouse staff. A third party was sent out to replace the bad part. And that is all he did. Now I can't get HM to come back and finish the assembly. Never again will I spend my money there.
