Hy-Vee is a great place to get groceries for the following reasons: great selection on just about everything except for some of their non-food items such as beauty products in particular. I would also say that sometimes their produce is not always that great but sometimes it's Untouchable by other places. You never have to look far to find someone to ask a question and they are really good about getting answers for you and are truly helpful. In general I do believe that they are pretty much so a top-notch grocery store if you're looking for helpful employees, good selection, good specials and great Floor managers that keep the checkout lines going smoothly. They are quick to remedy any issues or problems. Kudos to the floor management. They have a great meet Department with several people behind the meat counter 2 give you whatever your latest whim is. The meat in the case is also better tasting than that what is already pre-packaged. Although the meat that is behind the counter is a bit more expensive it is worth it. A shout-out also to everyone in the pharmacy Department. Always friendly, always helpful, quick and with a smile! Perhaps a bit more expensive but well worth it. I  would have to say definitely pay a visit to your local HyVee. It seems as though these characteristics are prevalent across the line at most Hy-Vee's. Happy shopping!

Watch out for disgusting elderly woman that works in the Bakery! Her names starts with an S, but I didn't catch her full name.

 I stopped into the Bettendorf Hyvee last week for groceries and decided to get a few things from the bakery. Behind the counter I could see a heavy-set, gray-haired older woman sweating profusely and working without gloves. It looked like she was decorating/working with either cakes or cupcakes. She was wiping her sweat (with her bare hands) that was dripping off her face. She was soaked with sweat.

My family and I no longer trust the cakes from Hyvee and I strongly suggest everyone keeps and eye out for this very unsanitary woman!

Like it when it’s on sale. Love it on sale and when I get fuel savers with sale prices. I use my app first and clip coupons and then make my grocery list. The app has a option to make a list while clipping coupons and going threw adds. Not to mention everyday there’s a daily new deal and some are free or buy one get one. Never know what your gonna get so get the app and clip and save on all that. Carrie out.

First a confession- I love HY-Vee and I always have.  There's always been a friendly smile in every aisle, just like their commercial once said.  Great selection(actually Fairway has better meat) in the Bettendorf store.  Employees are always helpful and friendly.  And I usually see all my friends shopping at Hy-Vee, so that just makes the experience all the much better.  Go Hy-Vee!
