I rented a car on March 5 using my debit card and returned the car on March 6 and paid cash. IBC is still til this day 3/24/17 holding my $200 deposit. I asked to speak to the supervisor, Rolando Reyna, who refused to get on the phone, he brushed me off like dirt on his porch. What is he there for!? Javetta tried her best to help me but employees do what they are told. Reyna told her to tell me to call the number on the back of my card ( for lost or stolen cards). All I want is MY MONEY so that I can buy my diabetes medicine. I'm on a fixed income and their policy to hold funds unacceptable! I will NEVER bank here again and I will make it my business to tell everyone how horrible this company is!!! And to Rolando Reyna, you need a course in business management and people skills, because right now you suck at both!!!!

I am closing my account and moving my funds to another bank TODAY! I make an appointment the previous day to meet with the bank manager 'Carlos" at the Kirby branch at 11am. I mention to him that I will be driving from very far so would really appreciate if he could meet with me personally and answer a few questions about my business account. I walk in at 11.01am and ask for Carlos. The receptionist tries to track him down and then says "sorry, he is missing in action". Just then, someone from the bank says "he just stepped out". After 20 minutes or so, I walk up to the receptionist and tell her that I have come from far and that i have another meeting to go to. So, please page Carlos and tell him I am still waiting. So she takes out a card and calls him. She then tells me that he is going to be another 10 minutes late so why don't you meet with Nancy. So I walk up to her and get seated. Nancy was the most unfriendly and unwelcoming person I have ever met!! She seemed very BORED with her job!! She did not make any eye contact with me and kept looking over my shoulders and observing someone else! I tried asking her a few questions and she said " sorry, my mind is blank, could you repeat that question?" which is when I told her "no need, I made my decision"!! I am not banking with IBC ever again!! They obviously don't value their customers!!!

It is really sad to hear that a bank I use to work for fell off so badly. Oh my gosh...

Poor customer service, and policies that make you want to bank elsewhere. IBC used to be a great bank, but the current management appears to be running it into the ground.
