I wish I could give this 0 stars. I have been going here for years to see my usual esthetician, Nagmeh. Now it's under new management and my usual person is no longer there. But I continue to go due to the history. I made an appointment Wednesday 11/8 for a service at 3:45 pm on Thursday 11/9. First time a guy answered so I knew something was amiss because the usual receptionist who always remembers me didn't answer. Appointment confirmed and I rush the next day on the metro to get there by my appointment time. I arrive at 3:40 and there's a sign that they would be closed 11/9; sorry for the inconvenience. I called the spa to leave a message that I scheduled an appointment for 11/9 but received no call to cancel. The same guy answered saying he thought he called everybody. I told him he didn't call me. I understand things happens but the least they could do is call to inform loyal customers before they pay for a metro ride over. He says the next visit will be free due to their error. I didn't even ask for a compensated service; they offered. The guy asked if Fri or Sat would be best I said Saturday anytime after noon as I have a morning appointment. He asked for the window of appointment. I say 12-4. He then said he would call me Friday morning to confirm the exact time but it would be within the 12-4 window. I received no call on Friday (not surprised). But I did receive a call at 12:35 on Saturday asking if I was planning to show up for my noon appointment. I again reminded the guy of our conversation. His response..."oh okay." Not I'm sorry. He then tells me he put my original appointment in the book as 3:45 on Friday. I know for a fact this wasn't the case because I'm in the service and Friday was Vets Day observance, and I was participating in other events. I also have photos of my phone call logs which supports all of this. This place has gone down and no longer has the service I am used to. When the new receptionist tries to blame the customer for their screw up just 1 day after admitting that he was at fault, I know it's time to seek other providers. They couldn't even follow through with providing a free service to make up for the original mistake. Before I got off the phone, I did make sure to ask where Nagmeh went. You just lost a customer and someone who frequently recommended you to my friends. I will be going to POSH spa to see Nagmeh even though the cost is greater. At least I know I'll get good service.

Terrible experience. Went for something that was billed around $30 but they charged my card close to $70. Owners refused to admit mistakes and I had to file a report with my bank to get my money back

I used to go here to get waxed by Nagmeh, however she's not here any longer. She works at POSH a few blocks away, don't trust anyone else with your waxing. Nagmeh was the only reason I went to Ibiza, she's super fast, gets all the hair and reduces the pain. I was always in and out with her, no one else compares!

I was referred by a friend and I have to admit I was skeptical about trying a new stylist. After meeting Janet I was confident before she even started working my hair. And the result was just stunning. It’s the first time I am very happy with my hair color and highlight after having hair services in LA and Miami FL before moving to DC. I had hundreds of compliments about my hair from coworkers and family, Thanks to my friend and thanks Janet. A +++++++++

I was scared to have a Brazilian done so I opt to have a bikini instead. The lady I believe her name was anita did an Great Job making sure I was calm and held a convo with me while waxing which made the time go fast and the pain less excruciating. I will make the drive to Georgetown for anita.
