We have used this outfit at least 5 or 6 times, once for a family reunion and always have had a great time, no problems.  If I only had one bad thing to say is that the term "secluded' is used loosely, but I've noticed that with every other cabin rental place so what are you going to do?

This review is for Garden Valley Trail Rides.  If you're thinking of booking a trail adventure with Garden Valley Trail Rides you have to do it through Idaho Cabin Keepers.  Please do not take your chances on this dangerous company.  During the summer we booked a trail ride with a beginner rider, experienced and two children.  From the start I had a bad feeling about this place. One of the horses seemed very spooked.  When I brought up my concerns about him the guide assured us he would calm down once he got out on the trail. He never did.  Also the trail guide arrived late and in what seemed a frenzy, very unprofessional.  We decided to let the "experienced" rider ride on the troubled horse.  I wish I would have listened to my instincts and just walked away!  The trail ride ended up with an ambulance ride down the side of the mountain and two surgeries. It was obvious that the horses had been over worked and weren't ready for another ride but I believe they just didn't want to loose business.  They didn't even have the decency to REFUND the purchase amount.  It was terrifying when my mother in law lay unconscious on the side of the mountain, the  horses the kids were on also spooked running up the side of a mountain.  It could have ended a lot worse but thankfully someone was watching over us that day.  I guarantee you it wasn't Garden Valley Trail Rides.  They should have never used that horse that was visibly distressed.
