Googled this place to eat while on a road trip with my family, we were very excited to eat here. However, upon arrival at 7:45, with all the lights on we were told they haven't been busy and were going to shut down. The lady was very unhappy to see us walk in and scrambled to tell us for lack of better words, they were lazy employees who could care less. Too bad to, as we were definitely going to spend some money with a family of 5, all wanting steaks and some whiskey. Headed over to Rositas Mexican food, where we were treated with respect and delicious food, some of the best we've ever had. We were the only ones dining but were greeted with open arms.

I like to stop here for lunch when I'm in town. Lot's of parking, older, much older property, but very cool to visit. You'd never think that Barstow would have a place like this. When visiting you'll get the sense that everybody that's anybody (5o years ago) have had dinner here. I understand that it's owned by Morgan Meats, the local meat processor, and so you get the really good cuts of steaks coming out of the kitchen.

Called at 8pm to see if they were open and was told till 9. Asked if they were busy and was told yes but they could fit my party of 1 so come on down. I did and they were outstanding. Friendly clean and delicious. Really liked the veggie appetizer that was given without asking you will love it. Will definitely go there every time I'm in barstow.

Loved it! Great atmosphere and service. Our server was so good you need to give that girl a raise, she worth it. Wish I could remember her name but she was the one working the bar 07/11 in the evening. I definitely will make it a point to go back if in or passing Barstow.

My Dad and I hadn't visited in more than 10 years since we've moved away from town. We happened to be passing thru and decided to give it a go as the reviews said it was good. Happy to say we were not disappointed. Service was good and so was the food. Loved the old and rustic feel.
