I love going for walks in this park. There are a few grills and gazebos to hang out under. There is also a dock on the water and a small sandbar that are great for hanging on. There is also a volleyball court. However, there isn't a lot of parking for this park so make sure to plan parking/carpooling if it is a nice day out.

Idylwood Park really DOES have it all. A great play structure with a zip line, swings, a sandy beach for swimming, life guards during the summer, a beach volleyball 'court', a pier for fishing, a large grassy meadow, plenty of shade, picnic tables and BBQ stands and 2 covered picnic shelters! While the paved parking lot is small there is a large gravel overflow parking lot just across the street. If you have kids in your group who have different interests (eg. Some want to build sand castles, others want to swing and yet others want to enjoy a game of volleyball), you can set up in one spot and easily keep an eye on all of them!

Big park with lots to do. Swimming, picnic shelter, playground, large grass area. Had a snack bar and life guards when i was thefe in the summer. 4 stars because of the small parking lot and on a fairly busy road. Can fill up quickly with buses of kids.

Great park... Ample parking. Good time for kids playing. Can make parties. Anyone can have fun in Lake....life guard available just in case...

Good place to hang out with family. Has a private barbecue area as well if one wants to reserve it. Open area also has good options with seating benches and play area for kids. Nicely done boundaries as well for kids to play and swim in the water. Watch out for birds especially crows as they will pick open your bags if they smell food. Lol..
