Este 6 de abril del 2014, La Iglesia La Luz del Mundo, de la que Samuel Joaquín Flores es Director Internacional, cumplie 88 años del inicio de su Resurgimiento como Iglesia de Cristo.
La madrugada del martes 6 de abril de 1926, Aarón Joaquín González recibió la manifestación divina para el Apostolado y el inicio de la Restauración de la Primitiva Iglesia Cristiana.
Desde hace más de 50 años, el Apóstol de Jesucristo Samuel Joaquín ha trabajado en la predicación del evangelio cristiano, que se extiende hoy en más de 43 naciones.
Su ejemplo de vida es digno de imitar; sus obras sociales manifiestan su vocación de servicio; su mensaje religioso impacta positivamente en toda persona que cree en Dios y que tiene esperanza de una vida mejor. 
Cientos de miles de personas que han aceptado su predicación y más de 2,500 casas de oración repartidas en los 5 continentes dan testimonio de su genuina labor.
Quienes le conocen, distinguen claramente en Él a un ser humano que cree firmemente en el desarrollo material y espiritual de toda persona, y que además genera las acciones necesarias para alcanzarlo; quienes aún no le conocen, pronto tendrán la satisfacción de haberlo hecho.
