This place has a ton of sentimental value to me so this post is biased. Sometimes having great people with you makes the food taste amazing even if it isn't. I love their crepes, and the one with the ham and cheese sauce is so good.

The food was decent but the attitude of the staff, and management alike left something to be desired. Typical issues were, appetizers arrived with the rest of the meal and were overcooked, and kept having to ask for condiments that seemed obvious, like ketchup, mayo, and mustard for Burgers and fries, ranch for chicken strips... I'll go back because there aren't a lot of places open all night.

9pm on a Saturday,  bout 3 tables of couples.   Took the waitress 10 mins to finish her conversation with the other waitress.   And when we were Leaving I caught 2 more in the bathroom talking chit about people. .. kinda sad.   But the cooks are  good and got our order really fast

We've been to the IHOPs in Coralville, Cedar Falls, and Waterloo. This was, by far, the best service and most appealing meal we've had at any of them. The server was friendly, attentive, and really cared about her customers and their experience. The cook actually arranged our plates like a professional chef. I was impressed.
