Illinois Educators Credit Union: Building Bright Futures for Educators since 1938.
IECU was founded by 13 teachers from Springfield High School in 1938. Today we are a closed field of membership Credit Union open solely to educators, administrators, support staff, IEA members, Horace Mann employees, and their families.
Because we focus on one profession, we're able to offer services that are specific to your lifestyle, such as: skipping your summer payments, financial education seminars for your students, grants to supplement your classroom throughout the year, pre-approved auto loans to keep your weekend time under your own control, and so much more.
