I was outside of my home reviewing a job done by a contractor. I was asked by the delivery driver multiple times to go inside my home to recieve my order, rather than just handing over the order.  I found this very strange as I have recieved delivery orders in the past without needing to enter my home.  If the delivery driver needed to verify that I am the customer who ordered, simply asking for the name on the order would have been a lot less awkward.  We love Imo's; however, we will be ordering from another location.  Thank you.

This is now my favorite IMOs Location. This is my third time ordering delivery from them within the last month and each time my order is on point and hot when it arrives. Way to go

I find this rude that companies demand reviews. Yet get butt hurt if a review is bad on it.  However, I am an observer by long career of Security. So, I do pay attention in the interactions of other workers and other customers along with there reactions in them.  But overall, I do  prefer to only rate that  individual or people that I to encounter during my visit.  Most of my encounters was during COVID Craziness.. while I had worked for/ Delivery guy in behalf of DoorDash, GrubHub and UberEats.  I don't do any more because of several issues both restaurant & customers behaviors. Along with safety and bad set up at either.  But I loved my pizza. Especially from here as a customer.  Never an issue.  Now I only do Uber.

Provel is not for everyone, but I personally love it. Maybe because I was raised on this pizza style. Still, take the four stars with a bit of bias here and know that Imo's is not for everyone. But I'd suggest trying it and seeing for yourself. If you like it, you very well may love it. Note: this review is really for those visiting or recently relocated to StL. St. Louisians have long made up their minds on Imo's and St. Louis style pizza.

Its cracker style pizza but with a higher quality, pastry like flavor. Its not bad but the cheese tastes very processed like Velveta cheese. Don't expect to be tasting anything that resembles normal tasting cheese with this pizza.  Now their customer service on the other hand is horrible. I ordered their pizza online and there was a problem with the order. Instead of getting my money back, they basically told me to eff myself and I wasn't getting my money back. I ended up having to go through my bank just to get my money back and go through a third party online seller just to try their pizza. Would only recommend this place for a once in a lifetime try for pizza enthusiasts.

Visiting from out of town. Talked my mom into Imo's. A few minutes late, no biggie, stuff happens. Got the wrong order. Ok. No problem, we'll call and let them know. Unbeknownst to me, my mom did not want to do Imo's because she has had issues before, but like I said, I talked her into it. So we call, immediately put on hold, ok that's fine probably busy. Lady picks up a few minutes later, asks for the order number. My mom reads the order number from her email receipt. Lady has an attitude and says no, the one on the ticket. Ok the ticket number, cool, gave it to her. We go back on hold. Guy picks up. Asks for the number again. We give it to him, explain we ordered Great Tastes of St Louis and got some random pizza, none of the sides. Dude asks us what kind of pizza, I asked how we were supposed to know? Start listing off the toppings, I guess he got annoyed and hung up on us. Kind of a bummer that I convinced my mom not to do domino's or pizza hut to have this experience.  Edited to add: wilted lettuce in my sandwich, chicken was stale, tasted like old oil. Also, a random piece of carrot???? Plus, bread is stale as hell and difficult to chew. Idk if it's more difficult to chew than the chicken, but its definitely at least at the same level so that's fun. On the upside, maybe my facial muscles will become chiseled?

I ordered a 4 topping medium, well done with a mozzarella provel cheese mix for pick up. It was $17.44 and I gave the guy $21.00. I wish I had looked in the box before leaving. It wasn't well done, there was no mozzarella and it must have been held at an angle because all the toppings were in the back left corner of the box. I know it wasn't me because I held the box in my lap all the way to work. After trying to put it back together and make it edible for 10 minutes I noticed on the receipt, in TWO places it stated "Per Dom $25 credit 6-13-20" I was owed a credit and even though it printed, they didn't give it to me. I don't know about this location. Every other location I have used always get the order right and never dump the pizza.

Asked for a “little well done “ and got a completely burned pizza ! I purposely now drive an extra ten minutes so I can order from the Webster Grove or Kirkwood IMO’s which are SO much better .

Enjoyed the most delicious pizza last night via delivery by Imo's themselves. Not by Uber, Doordash, etc. which, by the way, are really taking huge cuts out of restaurants' profits, people!! I hadn't had Imo's in awhile but this pie was absolutely FANTASTIC! Delivery driver was prompt and quite courteous. In reply to other's recent review regarding cheese seeming to be like Velveeta, next time be sure and try the mozzarella/provel mix cheese option instead of all provel which is their standard and, you're right, is a softer cheese which many locals love. Just not me!! Thank you, Imo's on Hampton for making my Saturday night so tasty!!
