Walked into Inday to order a take out lunch. Very pretty modern looking store. Indoor and outdoor seats available. They have a self ordering station and in-person ordering counter. Menu has short number of items. I ordered the chicken tikka masala with avocado. To my surprise the oder was ready within couple of minutes. Absolutely gorgeous dish even in a take out bowl. Tender chicken, fluffy rice, big avocado pieces and delicious tikka masala sauce. Good portion for lunch for the price. Had a wonderful first experience. I’ll surely go back to try some of their other dishes, sides and drinks. Vegetarian options: Gluten free vegetarian dishes available. You can also make your own bowl with vegetarian ingredients. Parking: Street parking free after meter hours and Sundays.
Super fresh and flavorful food. Portion sizes are pretty big especially for bowls. Service for dine in was fantastic! You can either pick a bowl or do like a diy and pick your base, proteins, etc. I got the vegetarian Karma bowl which came with tasty dal, Chickpeas curry and saag paneer. I subbed my basmati rice for brown but could have also done bed of greens. Hubby enjoyed his charred chili chicken bowl. Loved the sticky chai and mango lassi. Would recommend for casual lunch or dinner!
Cheap eats with all the flavour to die for. Had the chicken tikka on greens and you couldn't fault it, Sat outside to watch the sun come down very photo friendly Don't expect fine dining, but do expect great food!
This place looks like an Americanized Indian place, but it tastes really authentic! I was blown away specifically by the samosas, which were so soft and warm, the filling was delicious, and the chutneys were perfect. The tikka masala was very flavorful, too.Food: 5/5
First time trying Inday and it just might be my new go to spot for lunch! Service was quick. No photo of the falafel bowl - I was too excited to dig in and I demolished it pretty quick. Definitely coming back to try the other bowls!Recommended dishes
LOVE Inday! Fresh and very flavorful! A much needed break from the mid lunch options in the city.Food: 5/5
10/10 experience. Casual. The food was reasonably priced for NYC. My bowl was vegan and $14.Food: 5/5
Quick, healthy and filling. The place has a nice atmosphere, but the food can be a but bland especially the chicken and rice. It felt like i was eating plain rice. The roasted cauliflower is better of the entrees I had. The prices are fairly affordable though so I can't complain.Food: 3/5
I don't remeber the last time my mouth was filled with so many Amaizng and diverse flavors. I couldn't wait for my next bite. AND, I only ordered two snacks! The Samosas, I was advised that they a wicked from the 4pc to two larger pc's per order, and I highly suggest they keep these on the menu! The tamarind chutney, wow! The Chili-Lime Broccoli, w/ chopped dates, mint, fresnos and lime-chaat sauce, it was a twister of flavors that didn't stop hitting my taste buds! PS, don't miss out on their lemonade with cayan, Yum! don't use the stupid paper straw I'll happily be back for them and a main course soon! I used to eat here a lot a while back. It was my go to after my workout at 24 Hour Fitness, but since the gym is no longer there, I'm not in the area that often. I stopped by a few days ago because I had an appointment in the area. The decor has changed and the menu changes a bit. I had the chicken curry. I don't know much about Indian food, but I tend to enjoy curry. I wouldn't really consider this an Indian cuisine but for the fast casual, it does the job. The prices weren't too bad and the staff was very nice. It wasn't too crowded when I went in. It was during business hours so people were still in the office. The food came out great. No mistakes and the portions were decent enough that I could justify paying over $15 for a bowl. Thank you to the staff at NoMad.
