Story

Independent Alarm has been serving the Delaware Valley's security needs since 1978. Our staff is dedicated to customer service, integrity, quality workmanship and prompt service. These traits have helped us to build a strong reputation and loyal customer base.

Our family owned and operated business recently moved from our original location in Collingswood, NJ. We are now operating from a 6,600 square foot facility in Pennsauken, NJ, that will allow us to provide even better customer service.

Now in its second generation of operation Independent Alarm continues to rely on its core philosophies of quality work and superior customer service at a fair price.

We are fire licensed and security system certified in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Collectively our techs have over 100 years of experience designing, installing and troubleshooting all types of systems.

Independent Alarm was thorough, professional and courteous.  Their workmanship was top notch. They went the extra mile to conceal every wire and to place each piece of equipment in the exact location for optimal use.  We needed a specialized automated door release with an outside camera to provide an extra level of safety for our preschool.  Independent Alarm was the only local company that understood our unique needs and was able to meet all of our specific requests.  The installation and ultimate results exceeded our expectations.  I would highly recommend Independent Alarm.

I have been a customer of Independent Alarm for over 7 years and they set up security systems in both my former and current homes. Unlike a lot other companies I have had to deal with, Independent Alarm's employees actually know what they are doing.  Their alarm installation is fast and the technician was great at explaining how easy it is operate the system.  In the years using Independent Alarm, I have never had one issue with our alarm malfunctioning.  For obvious reasons, having a reliable and competent alarm company is extremely important which is why I will always continue to use them.

After having to deal with another company who didn't return calls or respond to requested service issues, I moved my alarm monitoring service to Independent and will never look back!  Independent always answers their phones, returns calls and provides professional services.  They have very reasonable prices on equipment as well as monitoring fees.  I would highly recommend them to anyone who is either in the market to get a new alarm system or transfer their service from another provider.
