I only post reviews if the service is VERY good or VERY bad, other than that I usually don’t waste my time.  

I wanted to post this review about Independent Bank and specifically one employee; Adam Banninga, he’s the Senior Loan Officer at the Lake Michigan branch.

He helped us with the purchase our first house back in 2012 (I remember it being a very smooth process) I have since recommended him to others that were looking to secure a loan and they ALL have commented on how nice it was working with him.

We are now purchasing a different house and again he has gone above and beyond what you think a Loan Officer would/should do. He is very quick to answer emails & phone calls (this is HUGE); you never get the feeling he’s dodging you. He is professional, personable and very knowledgeable on the latest rates, regulations and everything else that has to do with the industry. I always get the feeling that he has MY best interest in mind and not just another account number.

I will sum it up by saying; if you are in the market to buy a house you owe it to yourself to go in and meet Adam. I can honestly say from my experience he is the best at what he does and I will have no problem recommending him to others in the future.
