I've used this vet for 2.5 years and I enjoy them. The facility is open and clean. Staff is friendly and takes their time and are flexible. I also use their grooming and have been very pleased. They have a HUGE cat that'll greet you and lies quietly on their welcome desk. I love going for that alone 😆

I brought my cat in a soft-sided carrier, which had a zipper door on either side, and a zipper top, so it wouldn't be any problem getting her out for her checkup. I almost had her out, but when the vet came in, the assistant decided to take over getting her out of the carrier while the vet and I spoke. I looked away for a moment while we were talking, and the next thing I know, assistant has the carrier upside-down, literally shaking it to get my cat out! Poor girl is timid by nature, the extra ton of stress, being shaken up and falling to the floor, was completely unnecessary. The vet wasn't very friendly either. Would not recommend.

The entire staff is amazing. We discovered Indian Hills after moving from Nashville, To Murfreesboro. As much as we loved our former vet, the drive was just too far. We decided to try out this place for our annual vaccinations on our three dogs after calling around and discovering that most places were charging nearly twice as much for the exact same service. The price brought us in, but the level of care, concern and overall feel brought us back. We don't just trust our babies care to anyone. Dr. Watlington is not one of those Dr.'s who is going to shove unreasonable and unnecessary services down your throat. He recommends what he thinks is best, not just what is going to make him the most money. Case-in-point, Our 14 year old Labrador had surgery to remove some invasive tumors from her tongue, we went into this knowing that this may only extend her life another year at best, we had been through this several times before. She had her surgery, did very well and then a couple of months later the tumors came back. Dr. Watlington could have pushed more procedures and treatments on us, both from him and a cancer specialist in Nashville, he offered them as options, but he was honest with us, he offered them but did not recommend them. He helped to keep Dixie comfortable for her last couple of weeks on earth and when the time came, he helped us to say goodbye, in a dignified, respectful and professional manner.
