Story

Founded in 1992, we are a working legacy ostrich ranch providing ostrich of all ages for sale. The tourist operation was recently retired. Our ostrich oil, edible eggs and other products can be found in our on-line store.

We had a fantastic time, twice. We visited in August when our daughter's friend came to visit and just now in September when my mother came to visit. The first time CJ gave us the tour, he was hilarious, the kids loved him and learned so much. The second time Liz showed us around and she was super sweet, she drove my mother around in a golf cart because my mother had recently had surgery. The tour was still interesting and informative the second time around, the chicks had grown so much! We fed the Ostriches both times which was a lot of fun for all six kids. A big thumbs up!

Quick little detour there. Got to feed the ostriches and see them up close. Very impressive animals. Was definitely worth the visit.

Giving two stars generously. This place has gone down hill quickly! They are trying to unload it/ sell. So that may be why they don't care about the quality of your experience. Drove 4 hours to go! Their website says they are open till 5 pm. We arrived at 4:03 pm. C.J. was the only one there running the place. He was very short and rude. Told us he wasn't doing any more tours that day, but we could feed them for $2 a bowl. Gave us the bowls and that was it. Last time they walked us out to the feeding area and gave us a brief tour. Nothing this time. C.J. couldn't be bothered. So we go to return the bowls and another family walks in at 4:24 pm. As we hand c.j. the bowls the other family asks for a tour and he says yes!!! I couldn't believe it! Completely disgusted by this biased behavior!!! I recommend you don't waste your time and money on the current state of this business. It blew my mind how much this place went downhill. They are trying to sell it to someone who will take the business and move it to a new location. I will wait and see if that happens, and maybe try to go again then. Such a waste of a day. Thanks C.J.

I'm torn between 2 or 3 stars. It was a lang drive out to see 3 ostriches and play in a nasty little playground. On the other had no one was there and it had a nice bathroom.

This is definitely a place to check out if you are in the area. It's free to walk around and look at the ostrich. I definitely recommend spending the $3 to feed them though.
