The Indian Rocks Beach Historical Society and Museum is dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and increasing awareness of what pioneer settler Harvey Hendrick called "the most beautiful place on God's green footstool."
Featuring an extensive collection of early native Indian artifacts, old photographs, maps, shells, documents and historic memorabilia, the Museum chronicles Indian Rocks Beach rich heritage from its founding as one of the earliest beach communities to the present day. The Museum is entirely supported by its volunteer members, The Indian Rocks Beach Historical Society, which was founded in 1980. This group of dedicated individuals strives to preserve a most interesting beach history for the enjoyment of many generations to come. Visit the Museum and step a sandy foot back to simpler times!
