If you are interested in local history this place is fascinating. We came here for the Fall Festival (Jamboree), and it was a lot of fun. The staff are all really knowledgeable and friendly. I went here for several field trips in school, and I liked it but going back as an adult I appreciated it much more. I highly recommend it if you just want to do something free and fun.

I visited the Heritage Village for the first time about 12 years ago. Since then there has been a huge update! Signs, houses, schools, barns, as well as very interesting exhibits at the welcome center. It is nice to see how much it developed. I love the info signs about the past and present of these buildings. It is definitely one of my favorite places in this area. And it's free!

A beautiful place to visit to learn about what life in Florida was like in earlier times. The place has towering pines and it's cool, breezy and shady, making it perfect for a nice walk. Make sure to include a stop in the General Store and the Auto-Shop to see how it used to be and pull a cold pop out of the antique refrigerator still in use. Educational for the kids, nostalgic for the grandparents and family fun all around.

If there is any place that captures the essence of old Florida, this is it. Just an amazing dedication to history that is seldom found and appreciated. So great for kids. Anyone who understands our old Florida culture should take the family and make a day of it.

This is a wonderful attraction to visit. It was very interesting place to visit. I look forward to coming here again. It's a wonderful historical village.
