I wanted to write a review to let everyone know that I had a fantastic experience with Indian Valley Scuba in getting my open water diving certificate. From the first phone call to the end in receiving my certificate, they were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and went above and beyond. I had a tight window to fit this certification into my schedule and they were very accommodating. Even though I was the only person in my class, they allowed the course to continue, I basically had my own personal instructor, lots of people would pay extra for that. My instructor was detailed and knowledgeable of the subject matter and didn't try to rush thru anything ensuring that I got the full understanding of all the requirements. I thoroughly enjoyed our sessions and discussions. He arranged his schedule to better suit my needs and tried to plan for optimal November weather when it came to doing the open water dives. An example of one of the several other good experiences I had with the store, I had them do repair work on some older scuba gear I was given, they didn't try to sell me on the latest and greatest stuff, they looked at the gear from my perspective of trying to minimize costs and they were able to check things out and refurbish rather than replace items that still had some life in them. It is the little things like that of which guarantees that when that equipment does get too old or something else is needed, I will go to their store of which is loaded with gear to pick out the new equipment. I know that in the future should i have the opportunity to recommend Indian Valley I will as they were nothing but professional and fair throughout the process. I applaud Indian Valley Scuba and their team of Dave, Sue, Pete and Tom for their assistance in getting me ready for the Open Water!!

I recently visited PA specifically to dive with this shop. Diving with IVS was an incredible experience and the staff went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our courses. I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking to take Scuba courses to check out IVS!

Very friendly and helpful. Staff member took his time to explain to me the different snorkel equipment.

Got a certification here. Good people & Good services, but class was a little unorganized. Could be 5 Star. They are the best in town.
