Fantastic art museum no matter your artistic background. Great mix of renaissance art, early American art, classical, and contemporary, paintings, sculptures and more. Can easily spend 5+ hours in there. Also has a few interactive exhibits explaining the science behind the art. An unexpected Indy gem.

Give yourself plenty of time to explore this wonderful museum. I went with a friend and we only have ourselves two hours and it was not nearly enough. There is a lot to see! I only four out of five because throughout the entire museum they promote this mini-golf course which is ... underwhelming. But, the art and the artifacts are incredible! So, ignore the mini-golf and enjoy the culture. Also, the garden and trails outback are wonderful so definitely explore those some.

Great museum with a large variety of art. The museum is full of many periods of work, featuring pieces from favorites like Picasso, Monet, and Van Gogh. The art work is on 4 spacious stories, and there is an outdoor portion complete with the Lily House, gardens, greenhouse, etc. Perfect to wander through when the weather cooperates. The museum gift shop is also great, with lots of colorful items (it's difficult to walk out empty handed)! There's also a cafe, and mini-golf for kids (located on a terrace, it's really just for kids size-wise).

I love this place so much. On top of a stunning art collection, the 100 acres area is overwhelmingly beautiful. Whether you're just going for a walk, doing engagement pictures, or exercising, this is a great place to do it.
