My daughter went in for suicidal thoughts that’s she’s been having for a while.  The hospital made a mistake and didn’t get a precert from insurance company, so it was denied.  Now that Bridgeton knows they’re not getting paid by the insurance company, my daughter is “fine” to go home.  I went in for a family meeting and got surprised with her discharge papers.  I had no idea she was going home, so I didn’t bring her shoes.  She had to walk outside with no shoes!!  The dr diagnosed her with GAD, MDD, and social phobia BUT...  wants her to go right back into a school setting tomorrow.  DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE.  CHOP in philly has a program and so does a nonprofit organization called carrier.  So, my daughter that wanted to die a few days ago is magically cured now that the insurance denied it.  The dr was worried about her 2 days ago when I spoke with him on phone, but now he’s not.  A bunch of bs.  My daughter said that they didn’t have therapy like they told me.  That she played games all day.  I am not a complainer, but what happened today is deserving of this negative review.  Appalling.  Your child is not their main concern.  I promise you.  Go somewhere else.

They don't do nothing, if I can give them no star's I would. The nurses in the emergency room are lazy and they don't check for nothing. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to nobody. I left the hospital in the same condition I was in when I came there

I brought in my 19yo daughter for dehydration secondary to a respiratory infection/ nausea/ vomiting/ endometriosis.  They were prompt, listened to my daughter, and myself, and within 25 minutes she had an IV and a doctor had seen her.  After two bags of fluids, some phenergan and rest she could keep water down and they released us.  I am an RN and was very pleased by their professionalism and caring for us.  We were there over shift change, and the docs and nurses did their jobs well.  The EKG tech was awesome, as Anna is very modest and he did his best not to make her feel exposed unnecessarily.  The WHOLE TEAM was awesome!

I was admitted, and one of the nurses became hostile and threatened a physical altercation just because I didn't want to give up some of my personal items for them to put into the safe. Another nurse took about four vials of my blood and didn't offer me anything to drink or to eat at all. An hour later, another nurse checked on me to see if I had been given anything to eat (this was after 6 pm) and brought me to another room and promptly got me some nourishment (you know, like a nurse should do for a patient who'd just had blood taken). Some of these people are so burned out you can tell that they need a new job. The nurse who discharged me was amazing. Very thorough, very knowledgeable, professional and treated me like a human being. You know, like nurses are supposed to do.
