I work near Inspired in the Third Ward and often browse for inspiration or stop in if I need to buy a gift — the decor and merchandising in the store is absolutely beautiful! I could spend so much time looking at every nook & cranny. My issue is, I am NEVER greeted by anyone working there. Ever. There were about 5 employees the last time I stopped and not one person said a word to me—or even smiled at me! That was kind of the last straw for me and I will not be returning. If you don’t value customers and can’t even have the decency to SMILE, I don’t need to support a local store that doesn’t value a simple, kind, respectful gesture.

LOVE this store! From floor to ceiling and wall to wall, this store is filled with unique, upscale and affordable pieces for your home. Even the bathroom is gorgeous!

Beautiful store .. we left disillusioned by the fact that there was staff in the store which outnumbered the customers. We were interested in a linen Chesterfield sofa and two black leather club chairs, as well as a cool galvanized bin on legs just inside the door. We  did not wear fashion-conscious clothing and don't "appear" to be successful. It was obvious after fifteen minutes that nobody was interested in communicating with us.. we felt entirely unwelcome. My advice to staff would be to "never judge a book by its cover".. we took our hillbilly selves across the street and ended up buying leather club chairs and a leather Kensington sofa...we were greeted nicely across the street, joined as members and made a purchase for roughly 4700.00. We are truly wonderful people in spite of how we left you apparently "uninspired".
