I had a previous Insurance policy with this company that ws cancelled due to nonpayment. My previos policy was for SR22/Liability. I am required by the state of Illinois to keep SR22 for 3 years to keep my license valid. My previous policy had been cancelled for about 2 months. On 9/6/12 I called to find out what I need to do to get my policy reinstated. I was told by the CSR Gina, that because it had been so long that payment was received on the previous policy that I would need to restart the policy, meaning that my previous policy couldn't be reinstated but instead would have to be restarted. Gina asked was I currently suspended I told her that I was due to the fact that my SR22 had not been paid, she ten stated that she would have to verify that before my policy could be started. Upon verifying that she stated what I would have to pay to start my policy, I was told I cloud pay for 6 months or 1 year. I choose 6 months at the time because it would cost less to get it started. I was now under the impression that everything was current & my license was now valid. On 11/25/2012 I was pulled over and my car was inpounded for driving on a suspended/evoked license. I argued with the officer that my license could not be suspended and that I had just made a payment on my insurance 11/17/12. Upon talking to the secretary of state on 11/26/12, I was told that my license was currently suspended & had been since 8/5/12. I told them that I had been making payments to my insurance company & I was told that it had not been reported to them therefore I my license was nad is curently suspended. I then waited for Insurance navy to open & made several calls to them to find out what was going n and why it ad not been reported that my insurance was current. The rep that I tlaked to stated that she say I had 2 policies & that one wascancelled, which I was aware of because as I stated before Gina already informed me that my previous policy couldn't be reinstated. She stated that when the second policy was stated the rep (Gina) did not include the SR22 in my new policy and that was why it had not been eported to the state. Which I did not understand because as I said before I called her to make my previous policy active again & she told me it needed to be restarted. Therefore I was under the impression that I still had the same policy as before only my current policy would be active making my license valid. I then asked for a manager, I could not understand how I could be insured for liability with a suspended license. I mean you would literally insure me with a suspended license. If I hit someones car your company aould pay for it. Seems weird, right? I was told that a manager would call me back but wouldn't be in until 10, no call back. I was then told he'd be in at 11:30 still no call, I was then told to call back after 6. This company owns 14 locations after call around to several locations I was given the managers cell number. I finally talked to him he stated he wasn't n the office & he'd look into it & call me back 3 hours passed no call back. I then called him again & he ws in the office I could tell that he was upset & frustrated that I had been calling around to all te locations looking for him. He (Ed) acted as if he couldn't understand my frustration. I told him I'm calling him constantly because my car was impound I had to miss work I dont have $550 to get my car & I need this issue resolved & every day my car cost more money. Ed the mangaer said go get it nd it's not is fault that I don't have the $550 couldn't I go borrow it. I'm like no & why should I have to in was obviously an error that is employmee made. I then asked m in all honsety if I called & you wee he rep that took my call & I said how do I get my policy reinstated what would you think I wanted. He said peoples needs change & that didn't mean I wanted SR22. Wo wouldn't think that I wanted the same policy as before. Ed dosen't want to admit his employee Gina made an error

Starting, I need to point out that Insurance Navy was initially my client. Our company provided them with printing services for a long time and my boss talked about them in a very positive manner since before I joined my company. To keep it short I have dealt with Insurance Navy for over a year and they demonstrated professionalism and commitment to their business dealing. I was searching for some auto insurance rates last week and some agencies were telling me that low auto insurance rates are not possible in the Chicago downtown area. Then I started my search for a reasonable car insurance quote online when I noticed that Insurance Navy has ways of giving instant auto insurance quotes on line. I submitted my information on line and someone from their offices called me and took care of my policy. The price was higher than what they offered on line but I, surely, am happy for becoming their customer. Oralia L. in Chicago Illinois
