Went Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Was going to try and make it three in a row but no go. Sunday brunch is off the list. Forgotten by my waiter, then a switch of servers, also forgot my drinks, Friday night. Didn't charge us for the drink they did remember, so maybe a nice gesture. Saturday afternoon a switch up of severs again... Interesting. Slow service in a not so busy afternoon. Lukewarm food. No utensils on the sixth trip to the table. Food arrives and still no utensils after getting the extra butter I asked for. Finally get them and the food is cold. The cornbread taste fishy. LITERALLY. A weird flavor. Like fish or roasted shrimp. Another ten minute wait for the bill.... Lots of cold shoulders from the servers. Maybe they told each other how I left only nine dollars on a little over fifty dollar bill Friday night. So Saturday was what it was. Can't help but feel specifically targeted as I saw warm service as well as more prompt service all around me. Maybe it's because we're brown folks. It really happens a lot. I really wanted a vegan brunch on my visit to Connecticut. Staying in Manchester and didn't want to drive over thirty five minutes for it. Guess I'll have to. Maybe we can get normal service closer to New Haven.

I walked past ION and read the menu and saw several things that made me say, "hmmm, that sounds good", and I am a carnivore. Big Time meat eater. I LOVE MEAT, but I also love eating in general. It was great. There were several things I wanted to get, so my date got one thing and I got another and we shared. We ordered off of the special menu, but there were several regular menu items I'm going back for. She has been vegan and vegetarian so she was more familiar with the fare and was jystvas happy as I was. I'm a man who loves Beef and Cheese, and still I highly recommend ION. I am going back.

The food and beverages were excellent. The service was a little slow, but there was a disclaimer about why that is (everything is being freshly made or something). The only thing I can complain about is the lack of amineties for people with babies. There was only 1 high chair and there's no changing table in the bathrooms. Other than that, it was a great experience.

This was the absolutely best vegan restaraunt we have visited. Great food, great portions. Presentation was phenomenal. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I am so happy I made the drive up here to visit. My tummy was full even if my wallet was slightly emptier. No regrets eating at this amazing place!!!

Amazing food! Southwest tofu is awesome, sweet potato fries are delish! We love the ambiance, service and feeling good about what we eat here. Staff is fantastic as well....
