Story

Iowa 80 is the world's largest truck stop, located along Interstate 80 off exit 284 in Walcott, Iowa. Set on a 220-acre plot of land (four times larger than an average truckstop) -- 75 acres of which are currently developed -- the site receives 5,000 visitors daily, and features a 67,000 sq ft (6,200 m2) main building, parking for 800 trucks, and 15 fuel pumps. Four-hundred and fifty employees staff the megaplex.

Great spot to stop while driving through. We stop every year and the kids love it! We plan to be there for lunch or dinner and eat at the restaurant. The kids can stretch out and go look at the cool display trucks and gift shop items. We wouldn't drive through Iowa without stopping! EVER. We have a picture of the family every year in front of the Iowa 80 sign. Oddly enough for years it was one of my kids favorite spot to visit out of anywhere...just above Disney!

Love this truck stop. It's awesome and HUGE!!!! My only complaint is I needed a map. The bathrooms were very clean, the staff was very friendly and gave good directions too, there was plenty of food choices all priced pretty reasonably.

This place is so cool!! We don't drive a big rig, but we do travel across the entire United States doing  transports, so finding a place like this AMAZING!!! They have several restaurants, a convienence store, a big gift shop, a movie theater, a dentist office, YES I SAID DENTIST OFFICE, laundromat, showers, a game room, a truck shop that has several cool trucks on display, and lots more. My 2 year old son LOVED sitting in the drivers seat of a big rig that was decked out on the showroom floor!!!

Restaurant is horrible. 
Got a burger 
Hot....i mean hot... microwave hot.
Came out too fast to be fresh. 
Absolutely horrible meal. Dry and tasteless.. 
28.00 for 2 burgers?
Sad when steak and shake is better. 
I spend 1000s on chrome there too..

I don't usually wright reviews but I was very upset today. I stopped to get a drink and saw a jacket my son has been looking for. The lady on the floor was so nice and found the size I needed. I was so excited. I got up to the counter to pay. The tag said $19.99. It didn't ring up so the lady got the manager. She told me that the real price was $26.99, they forgot to put their price on it. I was so disappointed. She would only take off 10%. I really just wanted to pay the price that was on the price tag that they were advertising. I didn't make a big deal about it, but she no I was budging.  I left sad not getting it.
