They are open.  I can see in the website there is only 2 customers.  Yet nobody can answe the friggin phone.. Where is the tax payer money going.  Where do the fine an ticket money go.  Not to employees for manning the phone...

I’ve recieved my license in several other states and this is BY FAR the most efficient. Title, plates, license, whatever... I’ve never spent more than 45 minutes in this DMV and every issue has always been resolved easily.

I went in for 5 renewal stickers. My number was being called even before I tore the paper off the machine! I was done in less than 5 minutes!

Do not ever move out the state of Iowa or you can not get a simple drivers license,  plates and register again when move back. I have never ever been so many hoops just to prove who I am and to get all iowa license and plates. It's like they don't want people to move here. Ridiculous! People won't helpful or understanding.

Got there at 4:35 and we waited for his ticket to be called for his permit, only to be told they did last call at 4:30 and if we were there at 4:50 they could have done his test, so they should have done last call at 4:50, very annoyed my son wasn't allowed to get his permit.
