Almost killed my mother! She got a blood infection from her picc line. Not great wound care. Rooms are not very clean. Our family actually had to ask for cleaning supplies to clean with. We were told no but they would have the cleaning staff come clean. That did not happen. Nurse staff does not answer call lights in a timely fashion. It took them over an hour to respond. We feel they are greatly under staffed. This is a wide spread problem in most hospitals.

Have had good luck with Methodist Hospital, except for one particular Physical Therapist. Will not name her, however, she was barred from my room after calling me a p*ssy and causing me to put too much weight on a leg, requiring two follow-up surgeries to correct. Have had surgeries at both Methodist Hospital Downtown and Methodist Hospital West. The rooms are very nice, especially for extended periods of time.

Horrible experience. Emergency room didn't do nothing when I came in about my car accident. When I left maturity room. I had bed bugs in my mattress. Don't go there.

Nearly 3 hours in waiting room after being sent here from urgent care with urgent care calling ahead to recommend catscan and epileptic daughter in severe pain having difficulty with airway due to swollen throat. Still waiting, triage nurse didn’t even look at her throat. No sense of urgency by anyone we’ve seen at this point and waiting room isn’t even busy. Tuesday evening, extremely frustrated with lack of professional prompt care. Environment may be remodeled but clearly the system and its people need to be reviewed in my opinion. Worst part is watching my daughter in pain and worrying she may have a seizure. Would not recommend.

My wife had surgury ,and when it was finished she was in pac u from 12:45 to almost 7 pm . we only got to see her for 10 minutes the whole time . they told us her room would be ready at 4 or so but was not ready till 7 . our though was if you are scheduled for surgury maybe they should have a room reserved for the patient. I my self hope to never be a patient here. . my family has now had two bad experiences with Methodist hospital...
