I have tried to fax a form to the office multiple times but They never received the document I sent. No response at all.. I am not sure why there is a faxing number on their website if nobody is checking it.

They are a joke. I UNDERSTAND REPS are doing their job but, they aren't even efficient at that! I waited approx 20 for a rep to tell me, he didn't have the info I needed, that he would do an internal trx and that I wouldn't have to wait for the next rep as I was being trx internally... Immediately after the trx the automated system advised my wait time was 15-20 min.... after being on hold for another 20 min the call went silent. IT DIDN'T drop, there was no wait music and NO REP!! AFTER repeatedly saying hello with no response, I disconnected the call. WHO HAS TIME TO WAIT 45- 1 HR FOR NOTHING. I HAVE TO WORK TO BE ABLE TO PAY THE STUPID TAXES/FINES... If you plan on taking my hard earned money at least have representatives that can provide accurate info!! OR provide better management as it's obvious there is a lack in training.

Contrary to popular belief, the IRS and it's employees, (~8000 in the Ogden Utah area), are not the evil power-hungry thieves that Congress makes them out to be. (Those thieves are the Congresspersons and Senators, imho.) Tasked with ensuring that individuals and businesses pay the correct amount of tax under the law, they are as likely to point out a missed deduction or credit as they are to deny one erroneously claimed. The agents and representatives here have always been respectful and helpful when i have interacted with them. A cooperative attitude and mutual respect has always worked out in my favor, and i suspect that is always the standard operating procedure.

The way the IRS does business wouldn't stay in business in the real world! It's become a joke to even try to make a payment or even talk to someone on the phone! Not happy!!! I think I will just quit filing my taxes until a representative shows up at my door... oh wait it will probably be a robot computer??? Alert! Some people still like human interaction! I don't want to make an appointment to give you money either!

I shouldn't have to go through automated systems just to try and get my transcript from last year. I had to then try and talk with a lady who I not only provided my SSN to but then she wanted the specific names of the companies I worked for and I didn't remember them. Was my SSN not enough for verification as well as address?! How do you expect me to file(2nd year filing) if I can't get that info easily?! Rude and unhelpful.
