Fun place to bring the kids, and it's free. Donations are always welcomed and appreciated. Places to picnic. Nice pond with an interesting assortment of ducks, geese, and I think we saw a swan farther back. You can walk by the cages, pet and feed some of the animals, and drive through the park to see others. I've never seen it in person, but around Christmas, they have it decorated in lights that my grown children have gone to see and have enjoyed.

Great selection of animals for a small place. We stopped with our young children while on a road trip when we needed a break. It is perfect for just a quick peak at a variety of animals. Our 3 year old loved it!

The zoo is very small (my young kids can walk it in about ten minutes) but it is diverse. A walk through the zoo, a short hike on the trails, and playing on one of the playgrounds takes about two hours. We've yet to check out the pool or other parts of the park, but my family enjoyed our visit.

Outstanding family friendly park/zoo. So much to do and all for free: kids jumping fountains, gazebo for weddings or concerts, multiple kids play areas, large or small picnic areas, swimming in the Duncan, hiking, biking, walking, historical building and a fantastic free zoo complete with bears, bison, tigers, owls and many farm yard animals. To top it off the park turns into a lighted winter wonderland from Thanksgiving to New Years.
