Fee to enter has gone way up but services remain the same.  Convenient for a day trip to the beach with umbrella rentals available.  Life guards  present occasionally. Restrooms/showers could be in a lot better shape considering the entrance fee.  Overall a nice place to take the family.

Isla Blanca is sort of like and old pair of jeans. Doesn't look so great but really comfortable. We stay in a motor home in one of the sites close to a boardwalk to the beach. We drive over 500 miles, one way, twice a year to stay here for a week or so. But, and this is a BIG BUT, they are about to close the park for a major overhaul/update for close to a year starting sometime this winter.

Went here for just a day trip to the island.  We got there early and rented an umbrella. Since we got there so early we beat the crowds and had an ideal spot. The beach was nice and well kept. Since it was one of the last weekends before school started the beach did get very packed but even then we still had a great time.

Live here and frequent often. We love the park and jetties for fish with grandson.  It's the only beach access we use. Also the passes make it very convenient.

We just spent a week here. Great County Park. Not too many amenities, but spaces are nice sized. I found the staff to be competent but in many ways typical county employees. Even when people are waiting to check in and out the other office personnel were standing around chatting.  They should restrict the number of full time residents.  They do have after hours maintenance service which is very responsive. The beach and beach access is top notch. I will stay here again.
