Sorry to say bad experience,  Today I went for taraweeh to this masjid first time. In middle of taraweeh someone who was the member of school /masjid, they start distributing some envelope to filled up the form for fund raising, Person announced that everyone has to give $50 as zakat /charity/donation and everyone has to filled up the form return it back otherwise rest taraweeh will not started.. I might not go back to that place again...why can't they understand you cannt forced for donations you can request for donations.. and charity or donation  can be any amount not fixed price... 
May Allah bless us n show right path also give us strength to adopte in our life .. Peace.
