This is a top notch place for veterinary care. I was referred there by my vet in New York at the Animal Medical Center. My toy poodle had suffered a burn from an accidental coffee spill. I was able to get an appointment right away. We saw Dr. Scully who was terrific, very smart, knowledgeable and compassionate. The staff are all kind and caring. In a very short time my dog was on the road to recovery. I must also add that the fees are very reasonable. Lucy C

I have been coming to Island Animal for years. We truly love Dr Scully and the entire staff. Everyone is always friendly and warm. They are always kind and loving whether routine visits or tougher times fun our fur babies. Highly recommended!! ❤️❤️

Dr Scully is our hero. She always makes my babies feel super comfortable and I always know that she’s going to take phenomenal care of them. She never does too much just what they need and she always make sure that she not only looks out for the health of my fur babies but also for my pockets. I absolutely love her and would never go anywhere else.

Currently my 4 1/2 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a patient. I took my previous Cavalier to Island Animal Hospital for 14 1/2 years and received excellent care for her and continue to receive excellent care with my 4 1/2 year old. Both of my dogs have been like my babies. I wouldn’t ever consider changing to another veterinarian.

From the receptionists to the techs to the doctors Island Animal Hospital is the very best. They are competent above everything, but their love of animals and willingness to help the pet owner is exceptional.
