Love this place! Great choices for every pallet. Really really enjoyed the Ahi-Tuna bowl. A variety of customizations available. AMAZING customer service. Was helped on my first visit by Gio. She explained everything in great detail. She did such a wonderful job and I enjoyed my lunch so much that I came back 2 days later. I have worked in a customer facing jobs for pretty much the entirety of my professional career and I much say it was great seeing Gio and the team in action. The past couple of years numerous restaurants have seen a decline in food quality and staff. Extremely glad to have found this location and looking forward to try many of their other choices.
Let me tell you. This little place is a gem. The service was great, the Poke bowl was excellent , and the raspberry treat amazing. You have to try it!
This was our first time trying Island Fin Poke. There were a lot of good choices on the menu so we weren't sure what we should get. We asked Lincoln go make us his favorite bowl x 3 and he did not disappoint. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the ingredients are very fresh, the sauces are very tasty and the toppings gave it the perfect touch like icing on a cake as Lincoln said. We will definitely be going back! We highly recommend Island Fin Poke!
My favorite poke in Tampa by far! I’ve been to at least 4 poke places around the city and the quality and price does not compare to what you get here. Most places charge extra for what you get normally here. Free topping Tuesday is a must whenever you can make it! The dole whip is absolutely delicious on a hot day and I love that they occasionally get new flavors. The customer service is always phenomenal as the employees are super helpful and friendly. I’ve recommended this place to tons of friends and anyone who will listen 10/10
What a great new addition to the area! Amazing customer service, quality of ingredients and flavors!! They went out of their way and brought me a sample of their ice cream after I was done with my meal and it was so delicious! I’ll definitely be back.
Best poke spot in Tampa - hands down! The ingredients were so fresh, generous portions three scoops of spicy tuna?! heck yes!, so many options, and the customer service was STELLAR. The establishment itself was super clean and cute. They walked me through the whole menu options and let me try the sauces just to make sure I liked them before putting them in my bowl. They even gave me a free premium topping for topping tuesday and a free little dole whip ice cream sample : If you're looking for excellent quality poke and incredible customer service, Island Fin Poke in Carrollwood is the spot for sure! Will definitely be coming back!
Loved this place! The poké bowl was a very generous portion. You get 3 scoops of the proteins of your choice plus toppings and sauces. The spicy mayo was my favorite. The best part of the experience was the staff and owners. They really made us feel at home and were super friendly and attentive. We felt very welcomed. Oh, and the Dole Whip is amazing. Must try!
Island Fin is the newest establishment to try and break the curse of the string of restaurants that have perished in this particular location. If for no other reason, I would recommend visiting and giving them a try. I hate to see a quality establishment not get customers. And yes, this is a quality establishment. Service was friendly, and the restaurant is inviting. The theme here is certainly health food and predominantly seafood. As I am not much of a seafood fan fish sticks aside, I went with the chicken option. The toppings seem limited at first, but when I received my bowl with the choices I made, I have to say it was excellent. It tasted delightful and was nicely presented. Also, the Dole Whip was top notch and quite large to boot. Give these guys a try for some healthy eats.
Awesome first experience! Riley was amazingly helpful! She explained all of the options thoroughly and tailored suggestions based on what we were already selecting! She even brought the food to the table, offered to refill drinks AND gave us dole whip samples! : The entire store was spotless and the bathrooms were also very clean! The food was fresh and the sauces were delicious but honestly 5stars for Riley!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Poke bowl was so yummy, I couldn’t eat it all. How did they not notice the avocado pit! I certainly didn’t get a full scoop of avocado.
