Very disappointing!  When we arrived our Sugar Beach unit #123 in Orange Beach it was so dirty we would have left if we would have had another place to go. It was filthy.  The white tile floors were so dirty they were black in places.  The floors had not been swept or mopped.  One bed had not been made up and in the second bedroom one bed had a dirty bedspread with urine stains and chocolate stains. The air filter had not been changed in years and mold was growing up one of the walls in the closet.  The TV's didn't work and we waited a day to get remote controls delivered that worked.  We had to leave the condo once we arrived so the cleaning crew could clean and this kept us out of the condo until 9:30pm so we missed our first day entirely. The cleaning crew never brought us a clean bedspread so we had to purchase a blanket at Walmart. Hair and dirt were in a kitchen drawer.  Dirt was all over the walls by the bathroom, kitchen trash can and sliding glass door to the balcony.  The wooden bed was covered in dust.  It was really pathetic. I've left a couple of emails but haven't had a reply from the management company.  I would not use this service again.

$200 tow fee!!!!  Terrible customer service... no hospitality!!!! Unapologetic, unsympathethic, shady scam to take advantage of tourists! 

Our car was towed by the condo association because the parking tag wasn't filled out correctly. We hung the tag that was left for us as soon as we arrived, which was already filled out. The condo association and the itrip supervisor first blamed each other, then blamed me for putting it in the car without completing it properly despite having no instructions to do so. 

The day we were towed, we found a warning on the car that the tag info was wrong, but we rented close to the beach so we wouldn't need to drive and hadn't been to our car in a day. The note said nothing about the timeline for being towed, or even that we would be towed. We corrected the other tag that was on the counter and were literally walking to the car to hang it when the tow truck was pulling off with our car. We stopped him, but he refused to unhook the car. This was on our last night, and we were told we couldn't get the car back until the next day after 8:30am. We had to cancel our last day plans to get the car because we had to be out of the rental by 10am. 

I took a taxi to a fenced in grass lot across town behind some commercial businesses where I handed $200 (cash only) to a woman that met me there to retrieve my car. The process took about 2 hours and felt very shady and like a trap to take advantage of unsuspecting tourists. 

There were many scenarios that could have avoided this situation, but none of them seemed to be on the radar of itrip or the condo association. It was obvious we were guests at the condos, and a traveling family (car seats for the little ones!!!). The rental unit number and itrip were clearly written on the tag. The security guard admitted that she knew this, but had us towed anyway. Both the security guard that had us towed and the condo association president that I spoke with made reference to their dislike of itrip, and it felt like we were caught in the middle of a power play between them. Unfortunately, we had to pay the cost for their battle. 

After we returned home, I called the the itrip supervisor again to discuss what happened. She told me that it was my fault the car was towed and hung up on me. At no point did anyone in the process apologize, except the lady from the towing company because she saw that we had a parking tag hanging in the car window. 

I often travel alone with my kids and cannot imagine how I could have navigated the situation if I had not had another adult with me this time. 

Not a good way to end our vacation!!! ...A very salty taste in my mouth, and not the pleasant lingering sensation from a dip in the ocean.
