The 2nd biggest mistake of mt life. (1st was getting married 19 yrs ago.) The school taught me NOTHING. I have been to job interviews in which they told me I don't know anything about IT. And I graduated at the top of mt class? Now I am unemployed with a $50,000 student loan debt, and no prospect of a job. Career Services was a joke. The People who work in Sylmar, Ca. should all be fired at once. 4 years and not one job, or even an interview.

They give a good effort. More students have to take school serious here because they don't and blame the school when they don't get a job. The information is there to get but you have to get it

Gonna KEEP IT REAL! -REALLY REAL Though the costs here can be excessively high (i.e. $26,000 for an Associates Degree in Health Care), your ambition and goals will determine if it was worth it in the end. NOTE: YOUR UNITS DO NOT TRANSFER TO ANY REGIONALLY ACCREDITED SCHOOL: Not any LA Community College, Not Santa Monica College, Not College of the Canyons, Not UCLA or USC, No CSU, and Not Loyola Marymount. These schools are affiliated with the Western Association of Schools & Colleges - (WASC). REGIONAL ENTITIES. Look it up. If you want to transfer to DeVry...or another For - Profit, you are more likely to be ok as these are "Nationally Accredited" Programs. Look it up. The "counselors" will "direct" you to a career path, as "continuous enrollment" (aka consistent revenue) is necessary for this For-Profit institution to exist (fact). Advice: DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!! I don't mean the kind THEY assign you... I mean, before YOU seriously consider your enrollment, because your costs WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. You ARE MAKING ADULT DECISIONS ABOUT YOUR LIFE>FUTURE>FINANCES!!!! Weigh your options about YOUR career path with regard to affordability of obtaining education, how fast you want to complete, and if the career is something you'll want to do for a long time, because YOU WILL BE PAYING FOR IT FOR A LONG TIME. You have to really research how in demand your career choice is and what you'll be looking to make. There are simply some job fields that are saturated with applicants, don't have enough applicants, or are no longer in demand. Consider, your lack of knowledge/ work experience will effect your ability to be employed. Don't think because you graduated with an Associates in IT, Google will be calling you... You will be paid at any entry level rate for your entry level knowledge/ experience. If you get hired, gain experience in the company, network with people, and continue your education (with or without ITT), but see if your job will help with those costs. That really only applies if you are OK with making less than $20k/ a year in California. Too may people bash this school, because they are too lazy to research their facts. The "counselors" are there to get paid. They're sales people... because it is a For-Profit Institution, not a traditional school. Would you buy a car just because the salesman said you would look good in it? I hope not. I would hope you did your research, asking them tough questions, and making an informed decision. They will not be paying your debt. After you're enrolled, their job is done. This program is fast... real fast. If you're a lazy student, you might still pass because the education requirements are lazy. But, if you want to succeed in life??? Push yourself. Excel in an accelerated program and KNOW YOUR S***!!! Your potential employer might be impressed. Otherwise you just look like another lazy student "coming from ITT" and then "you become a victim of a poor learning environment." Finally... for the record. I quit this program. I could not personally justify paying $26,000 for a degree I could have gotten for $10,000.00 had I just done MY Research. However, I did gain some knowledge from ITT that helped get me into a job to start. I gained knowledge, because I took advantage of opportunities when ITT offered them. I did not wait for things to be given: I asked to be included. In the end, my personal NETWORKs got me a job that paid!!! But the ball would have not rolled unless I initiated it, by taking a first step with ITT. School is half learning/ half building networks. Everything is your responsibility. Take ownership whether you succeed or fail. The "Adjunct Professors" ( A pretty word for working professionals that help teach as a side job) will help you, if you are serious about succeeding... otherwise... if you have no questions, you aren't making their experience interesting, you're not challenging them, and yes, they will be there to just "be collecting a check." Good Luck Y'all

Instructors are sub-par, facility is nice enough, but dude below is correct, it really is a sham degree you end up with. The 1 star is for the service they provide after you've wasted your hard earned money or GI Bill... You end up with a kick-a$$ looking resume and they can find you good jobs for the rest of your life (provided they last that long) GOOD LUCK
