The girlfriend was in the mood for some crab cakes or halibut, she didn't care which one, she just needed one or the other. When she gets one of those hankerings, its best to just find it for her. : We've been to this Ivar's before and have always liked it. We walked in and the air was on and we definitely appreciated that considering it was around 95 degrees outside. I wish I were better at catching names because I feel I can't give proper shout outs to the ones that deserve it, but our servers were all great yesterday. Great for a quick bite to eat and a nice place to cool down in this heatwave we're experiencing.
The chicken was quite good! This is a greasy and heavy meal, however, so be prepared and be hungry, otherwise you’ll feel it as a gut bomb. Classic fast-food style seafood and chicken that’s fairly good quality. I probably won’t be back in a while cause it’s so heavy, but worth trying out if you’re in the right mood.
Friendliness, teamwork, and speed of service all came together for the best fish and chips! Even with a line when I entered, and one very sweet cashier, I was able to order quickly, and in no time, the food was delivered to my table with a smile!
It’s Valentine’s Day February 14, 2022 my husband and I @ 5:28 p.m.ordered from Federal Way the Commons got home to Lakewood 7:15 p.m. only to find out that our salmon Caesar salad dinner has NO salmon! tried calling the restaurant and they’re not taking calls so very very disappointed! $52 and no salmon! If they’re not going to allow you to dine in because of proof of vaccine status they should at least quality check and assure that your order is correct and complete!
So many great memories of Ivar’s from growing up in Seattle. The fish and chowder taste just as good now as ever. Super tasty!
I am the biggest seafood fan and Ivar’s is at the top of my list. This location in Federal Way has the nicest staff. Both times we went this weekend it was different people working. A+ on customer service and food. I love the little oyster crackers that come with the best chowder ever!
Food was great, customer service needs to be adjusted. Kindness is key... show more of it changes how welcomed a person feels while at a business. Two older employees were cold. Parking was a bit hard the lot was full.Food: 4/5
Normally I'm a fan of this location,until today. Ordered to go, find out after I get home I'm missing an entire order of fish. Tried to call them to see how we can make it better, all I get is an automated message saying "your call cannot be completed as the party is busy". I've given up after 15 attempts over 30 minutes. Always check your bag, otherwise be prepared to basically give them money.
Was there on Saturday night November 13th I think was yesterday anyway.. just yesterday and boy they have some really nice young guys working the front counter I've never seen such politeness.. often it's just a fast food cashier is business as usual but these guys were very very attentive and kind to every customer.. over the top service n the food was amazing.. good job guys
Hubs loves this place. We phone in an order and pick it up. Maybe 25% of the time something is missing from the order, but they never answer the phone and we aren't driving all the way back. Hubs likes it enough that we keep returning. Honestly, compared to the other food places in town they are miles above in the error department.
