I haven’t been to Red Lobster in years and we decided to go after work to celebrate a special occasion. The food is good, a little pricey for what it is but they do have some good deals occasionally. The drinks are not very strong but I did order a sweet one. The biscuits are always a hit though.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Had a sub par time here with my husband this evening. Came in at 5 o'clock, wait time ended up being 30 minutes to be seated. Waiter was ordinarily friendly. My husband finished his water within 10 minutes of being seated and never was offered refill for the full hour and half we stayed for. I order a 9 Oz glass of wine, it was great. The biscuits were wonderful. We ordered the dinner for two which comes with 2 lobster tails, 2 steaks, 2 shrimp kabobs and 2 sides of our choice. The food wasn't as good as I would have expected for $100. Very bland, unseasoned and much left to be desired. The lobster tasted overly fishy, in an odd way. The fries were on par with those from a grocery freezer section. The steaks had not an ounce of seasoning on them - though they were cooked perfectly to medium rare. And the cooked shrimp came cold. I'm not saying it was horrible, just with a little extra care and flavor into the food, it could be a worth while experience. Paid way too much for what it was.
First off the servers and front house associates were all exceptional. However, the food was very salty, and it's probably some of the worst seafood I've ever had. I see why it's been over a decade since I've been to red lobster... The exceptional customer service can't make up for how terrible the food was. And the decor is very dated, 1994 called and want it's fish patterned booths back. Not to mention it's also so expensive. If you want to spend $125 on two plates of mediocre shrimp and a lobster tail or steak, a couple of drinks, and an appetizer, by all means have at it. I'd rather go to black Angus, or Salty's if I want pricey seafood that's at least a fair quality for the price. Hell, I'd even rather eat at a Chinese buffet to get some seafood before here.
Love the food here! Whenever i have a seafood craving, this is where i start! Food are properly seasoned, not bland. Their new Crispy Brussel Sprouts is so delicious! The sauce goes very well with it. Their stuffed mushroom is ok. Could be better. Portion size is enough. Those shrimps and lobster tails are addicting lol. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant interior is a little outdated but as long as it doesn't affect how they make their food, not that big of a deal. All in all, 5 stars
Slow service. Seaside shrimp trio was ok. The shrimp were pretty small. Pasta could use more cheese. I didn't even get the biscuits with my meal. The servers kept on saying it's still in the oven. I had to asked for it after I saw the people next to me got some. Caesar salad was good.
I normally love eating here, but we had a bad experience tonight. We were ignored for almost 10 minutes after being seated, watched the table directly next to us be seated after us and served first, dealt with 3 different waitresses for some reason, one of our bacon wrapped scallops appetizer was missing the scallop, my mom's side dishes were not brought out until we were finished with our meals and were ready to leave - and she never received one of them... Not sure what was going on... they didn't seem short staffed. But I wish someone would have addressed us sooner and just told us up front if we were seated incorrectly or something. I accidently left a big tip that I don't think was deserved, and I really hope the service is better if we ever go back. The food was good though. Features: No covid regulations, completely back to normal!
Wait time to long, empty guest desk area, wait staff performing dual functions. Why is it so hard to fill the positions if so many people are looking for jobs? The optics do not match. Customers are still spending big bucks when they eat out. This is a high cost of living area, and the cost of food matches the prices on the menus. The specials don't look like specials when the bill is due. If I couldn't afford one great meal and have to stand around waiting, it almost makes me want go somewhere else, but heck, I love Red Lobster. Features: Wear it if you want to,or not. Staff doesn't have to but some do.
How disappointing! Our 25 year annual Christmas tradition may have come to an end tonight. The pricing has gone way up like every other place but the redicously tiny portion of flounder and way over cooked broccoli were not even fit for a two star restaurant. The very thin clam chowder was hardly worth the effort and was adequate at best. The stuff mustrooms were rubbery and tasteless. The cheese biscuits were good but the promised refill never showed up. The lemonade I see I was charged for never showed up. The restaurant was not busy at all and we got right in due our dining timing but Red Lobster Federal Way gets bad marks across the board.
Ordered stuffed mushrooms and lobster dinner number one in lobster dinner number two, on this day the food was decent however one of the lobsters looked a little old and it was replaced. Overall it was a decent experience. Parking: All around the building, there is wheelchair accessibility
Feeling nostalgic and went here since the chain isn't in Seattle. Not really impressed by the food, and service is pretty slow. Much better food options in the area.Food: 3/5
