Beautiful place with a few negatives. 1. Bouncers are rude and arrogant. 2. Lots of wannabes. 3. Must have collared shirt to get in. Apart from this the place has great music and a really great mixed crowd of young and old. Good place to meet cougars.

Tonight was my first time at the Ivy. I was assaulted by a drunk young woman who pushed me as i was standing by the bar and tried to provoke me again for no reason at all. The security guys did absolutely nothing. They should all be replaced by someone more professional. The last time I checked if someone misbehaves they are walked out. Doesn't matter what sex or age you are.  Very unprofessional environment.

This blonde bartender dared to tell my friends and I “you are supposed to tip” after ignoring us twice right in front of her. Your job was to serve, not educate poor service.

What a serious joke this place has become. Since B&A stopped promoting it its become a disaster. They had Stevie B there and over sold tickets purposely to make a profit and only let in the first set of people. Once the club reached its capacity, everyone else (some 200 ppl) were stiffed outside in the cold. If ppl were dumb enough to wait in the cold, that says a lot about their own stupidity. Some of the bouncers really need to get off their high horses in their treatment of ppl in line. Its a 40 plus crowd....we are not 19 years old.
