Absolutely beautiful dance club. But mainly for a YOUNGER crowd. Music sound system and light show  are  AMAZING!!!!  Expect a lineup pretty much any weekend. Great place to take a date.

Saw Steel Panther here last night, and this is a great venue. Plenty of parking (though expensive), no issues with staff or security at all, good selection and convenience at the bars and the sound system is fantastic. Only issue is that there was hot air flowing through the club and I chose not to use the coat-check service. The bad reviews must be for club nights when all the strange people come out and security has to deal with it. Come for a ticketed concert and you'll have a great time.

Rebel is a very high quality club indeed. However, last night we experienced some unfortunate events that I’d like to share. It was my birthday last Saturday so we wanted to reserve a booth with a couple of my friends. One of my friends asked to arrange the reservation since he knew someone that could arrange it. I also paid the 500$ deposit before going from my account. When we got there, the bouncers accused my friend that made the reservation of having a fake ID and threw us out. They didn’t let anyone else in even though my friend gave consent for us (he was cool with not going in) and I was the one who actually paid the deposit. The bouncers didn’t even accept to look at out ID’s and threw us out, which honestly ruined my birthday and costed me 500$.

Alright so I'm writing this review in real time as I sit in the parking lot in my friends car while they're having fun not knowing that I'm still here. I generally liked Rebel. They play good music; especially in the purple room.. However, I'm in the parking lot as of right now as my friends are inside. Apparently, white pants are not aloud inside the club. Even though I saw many people with white pants go in. The security man had asked me to step out of the line and I asked why. He said it was my white pants. I did not know that this was not allowed. I'm coming from outside of Toronto so it was a travel to get here. I told my friends that I was able to get someone to pick me up so they should go on without me and have fun because I didn't want them to waste their night. Unfortunately this is not the case and I'm still here in the parking lot.  I must also mention that I was the one with the guest list and we were all there before 11:30. Since I couldn't get in, all my female friends had to pay their entrance fees which was not supposed to happen. Like i said before, i generally liked rebel for the good music. But this is just my bad experience that I felt the need to share.

Also, I did send an email to rebel and tried to explain what happened but they had failed to respond to my email. From my understanding, the dress code was no athletic wear, baggy clothing or track pants. However, my white pants did not fall under any of these categories. I also understood that it was the right of security to deny entrance due to dress code which there was nothing wrong with my outfit, so I complied and decided to write this review. Sucks because my outfit was 🔥🔥.
