Such a great dessert, bakery, and lunch spot!! Picture shows my valentine dessert which was so fresh and creamy. Everytime we go, I have some really great left overs and buy pastries for my morning coffee! This place will not disappoint
Seriously just amazing pastries. I knew they would be good but I had no idea how good. I went in the morning for a pistachio Kouign and returned later in the day for a cheesecake. The staff were amazing as well. Just a super impressive operation with very talented pastry chefs and workers.
My first time at Central Market and it reminded me so much of Pike's Place Market in Seattle. The closest I've gotten to that since I moved, at least. So, this little bakery shop ranked as one of the "best places in Denver" for a croissant. I tried the chocolate one and it was so lovely. I also bought the fresh berry vanilla cream tart for later and now that, yes, oh my God...amazing. I've tried this pastry a handful of times and the letdown is always the cream. Not this time. It didn't have the fake or bland taste. No waxy texture you sometimes get. Just pure heaven. Oh and the toppings..come on, the amount was insanely kind. This place knows exactly how to do it!! I went on my cheat "treat" day. The woman behind the counter was SO SO kind and sweet. 10 outta 10, must try, amazing. Can't wait to make my way back there to try one of the other pastries on my next treat day!
The city of Denver is generally not known for its great bakeries, but Izzio is clearly trying to challenge this mistaken assumption, with their diverse menu, attention to detail, and incredibly great pastries and cakes, which borrow from both French and Spanish influences. This cozy little takeaway spot in the Denver Central Market at 27th & Larimer has excellent, hand-crafted artisanal baked goods, along with burritos, chorizo, quinoa, and shawarma cafe items, which makes it a good destination for coffee and croissants, as well as a quick brunch. I've eaten at a lot of gourmet restaurants in my life, and sampled expensive dessert menus in Europe, but I honestly would put Izzio's fresh berry chantilly layer cake on my top 5 list of best cakes of all time. It's so perfectly made that it deserves its own review, but I'm running out of space, so I would say just go down to Izzio and try it for yourself. I highly recommend this place, which thankfully, seems to have also survived the COVID era relatively unscathed. The staff is very friendly, and there is definitely a level of artistry in the cooking that genuinely makes it one of the best bakeries in the Denver area. It's worth the drive even if you don't live in RINO. Looking forward to my next visit! Thanks Izzio!
This place is awesome! Delicious fresh food made to order, had the Poke bowl yesterday and came back today for the pizza!. Also a house butcher that can get you some nice picanha
The chocolate almond croissant was out of this world. They have a large selection of pastries and are located within the Denver Central Market. It is a fun area to hang out in and I would love to come back and try other pastries.
First time visiting Denver Central Market and Izzio Bakery caught our eye with their desserts. Ordered the Dulce de Leche pastries and they are delicious. The top tasted like Cajeta or a Hispanic version of Nutella. The nice crisp first bite and sweetness just hits you in a good way. Once your done eating at Central Market a dessert from here will complete your visit for sure.
Holy Muffin Heaven! This place is the holy grail for those who love baked goods. And not just any baked goods, really good ones. I was in a rush so did not have time to grab good photos, but let this cake be an indication that you are dealing with confectioners mastery here! I will be back!
Incredible! I love kouign amann’s and am soooooo glad I found this place while looking for things to do in Denver. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and with toppings! 10/10
Incredible Taste! Great service! Price are decent. Keep doing great. I’ll be there in my next visit to Denver
