Long Story, but complete nightmare: I went in for a hair cut once and an older woman named Lola did it, best haircut of my life. I trusted this place, so when I wanted to go from red hair to blonde hair I went again. My hair has always been fragile, and I thought going to a place that specializes in thin/damaged hair I'd have nothing to worry about. However when I went again Lola was on vacation and a woman named Shannon did my hair instead; so for several hours we sat there as she bragged about how good she was at her job and she put sections of my red hair in foil to bleach them. However the uncovered sections stayed red (I stated I wanted a balayage, brown roots fading into blonde) so when I asked where the brown was she told me to trust her. She pulled off the foil after leaving it on for a really long time under a heated fan and washed my hair. Shannon sat there acting like I was done, expecting me to be happy with the result, but I basically had red hair with yellow highlights in it at this point. So she agreed to fix it for free, which she did and it looked nice (but not as good as someone else might have done it.) However this woman knows nothing about bleach and fried my hair, I also don't understand why she messed up the first time and did it correctly the second time, trying to act like this was her plan the whole time. However after all this it was so unmanageble and frizzy I had to cut my beyond shoulder length hair into a short bob and it's still really horrible feeling. Basically DON'T go here if you're expecting modern styles and modern hair colors, as everyone who works there is older and i doubt any of them have any concept of these styles at all. Lola (the owner) is a nice woman though, so maybe sometime I'll drop by and show her the damage done by her stylist, because after my first bleaching disaster at home it took me 3 years to grow back my hair, now I have to start all over again.

Best shop in town Jason is an amazing barber. This is my new regular place to get my haircut. Will definitely be returning again and again

Great place. Takes excellent care of customers and very astute with minor details. If you get one haircut every 6 months get it here!

Really highly recommend Jason. What a talent ! I don't think my hair has ever looked or felt so good. Very kind and caring man also. Great sense of humor. Also met his beautiful and gifted mom.
