Jorge and his team are total professionals and took excellent care of me when I needed to replace the engine in my 2011 Kia Sedona. He gave me great advice upfront when he first examined the van, and he was always in communication, letting me know where they were in the process. And when I picked the van up, he asked me to come by later in the week so they could check the oil, and then in 30 days to put the van up on the rack and do a more thorough check. All included, and great prices to start with. (I did get other estimates.)

Jorge Vasquez, owner of JEV Automotive, has been keeping my nearly 20-year-old Toyota Camry running like a top for three years. Jorge is that rare quantity: a scrupulously fair and honest local businessman, a highly knowledgeable technician (with the gift to explain clearly ... not to mention the patience of Job), and a man with deep ties to his community. As for me, I sometimes live paycheck to paycheck, so I depend upon the value and fine workmanship JEV provides. Indeed, I am so grateful that Jorge's price quotes line up with his final invoices - - every time.

Jorge is an incredible mechanic. He understands my Mini Cooper, and I trust him to diagnose and do a good job on the repairs. He always provides fair prices for his labor, good turnaround time, and the quality of work is top notch. He's also very good at answering any questions on the phone or in person. 

My Dad actually referred me to Jorge, who worked on his Audi. Thanks Jorge!

Jorge has been absolutely dream to work with.  He has helped me out of many tough situations and even came in on the weekend so I could pick up my car when I couldn't get there during the week.  He is incredibly accommodating.

Additionally, he really explains every detail of the repairs he is making and why they are necessary.  As someone who doesn't understand much about cars, I really appreciate the effort he puts into explaining things to me (sometimes he even draws pictures)! I trust Jorge completely and recommend him to all of my friends whenever they have car trouble.  

I live in San Francisco, but am happy to drive to Novato for such a great mechanic!
