A gallery of gifts. Featuring artisan jewelry, fine American handcrafts in wood, glass, ceramics and metal, women's clothing and accessories and really fun whimsical gifts.

Story

The J. Fenton experience in Williamsburg used to be a two-parter. There was the women’s clothing store, and the gift store. Now, the two stores have combined into one. The Gallery is best known for its selection of Flax clothing and its upscale gifts, however it still holds true to the Fenton tradition of the more creative and whimsical gadgets like magnets, books, and kaleidoscopes.

Our Williamsburg shop is located in Merchants square, between the College of Williams and Mary and Colonial Williamsburg.

We believe shopping should be fun!

Everyone must know this! My son loves collecting souvenirs! We were in Williamsburg recently. While I was using the bathroom, he liked something in this store and wanted to buy it. His father sat outside with my younger one and watched him the whole time he was in this store. He was shooed away (by the very rude staff) despite the fact that he had the money to pay for it! He tried to tell the staff that his father was outside watching him, but was asked to leave. I needed a new handbag and would’ve loved to give them business. After my son told me how they had treated him, I made a choice of not giving them any business. Needless to say, they have too much money and business so they can ask people to leave the store. My family is never going back there!

The store has an awesome selection of jewelry, gifts and clothing. The staff are helpful and I always find something new when I shop here! They also have a really awesome selection of socks, so if you're looking for a cheap but fun gift this is really the coolest place to visit.

People need to know this. I went in a few months back to burn time while my wife shopped. I picked up a children's book and flipped through it for content and reading level. I was told by an employee "this is not a library". She also said to buy it or put it back. Horrible way to treat a local! BAD service.
